  • Assigned as Planning Engineer for the various projects inside Education City - Qatar Foundation in Doha, Qatar from 07 September 2011 to 31 December 2012.
  • Attended Kick-off meeting to advise Clients Project team of project planning and control requirements for the Contract duration. 
  • Responsible for reviewing, advising Contractor of required amendments and final approval of Contractors Planning Package that will be used for monitoring progress, supporting claims (if any) and validation of claimed progress of works. 
  • Responsible for monitoring Contractor’s performance and advising Project Manager of any schedule or interface issues that will affect the scheduled completion of the project. 
  • Attended progress meetings, and provided updates to internal confidential progress reports to Clients. 
  • Responsible for auditing and validating Value of Work Done (VOWD) claimed by the Contractor and endorsing progress invoices for payment. 
  • Reviewed and analysed valid Contractors schedule delay claims to establish the contractually justified extension of time (if any). 
  • Conducted regularly trend review and forecast project delays and final completion dates. 
  • Highlighted areas of concern, suggests corrective action plans and suitable monitoring strategies. 
  • Carried out “what if” risk analysis to anticipate unforeseen changes to the project and quantify potential impact and mitigation plans, as required.
  • Worked in close coordination with the Project team to support the development of the internal ASTAD processes and procedures.
