A Byco Oil Pakistan Limited, a multinational company, needed to implement Project Management Information System (PMIS) in order to balance capital project investment for long-term global growth against a worsening backdrop of slackening short-term demand.

IPECC SCOPE:

- Implementation of Project Management Information System (PMIS) - Primavera P6 Professional Project Management (v7.0). Including Project Manager Client, Web Projects, Resources & Portfolios, Project Architect, Methodology Manager, Advance Portfolio & Capacity Planning, Dashboards, Timesheets, Oracle XE Database.
- Providing pre-training sessions for users’ proficiency and the performance factor of the processes, and technology.

IPECC SOLUTION:

IPECC Consultants performed the implementation services for the world’s leading project management systems, Oracle Primavera P6; following a proven methodology that ensures success. We carried out the following phases for the implementation:
- Defined the organization’s requirements
- Analyzed the current operations and processes
- Mapped the business requirements to the software and identify the gaps
- Configured the applications, using Client Extensions where necessary
- Developed tailored reporting
- Performed integration with the client’s legacy and third party ERP systems
- Documented the exclusive processes and solutions
- Conducted multiple training sessions at progressive levels to educate and train users
- Assisted with Go-Live
- Provided post-implementation support

RESULT:
IPECC Consultants effectively led the implementation of PMIS and enable them to manage projects of all sizes and complexity. The client is also able to integrate other critical systems with PMIS to ensure accurate, accessible information for each organizational area touched by a project.
