I am a project planner on various civil and building projects. I work as a freelance consultant for a number of major Civil  contractors primarily in Melbourne, Australia, though have also worked across Australia, New Zealand and India.

My skills include planning complex projects and assessing EOT claims/disputes. 

My chief objective is to work closely with the delivery team and ensure that the program is relevant and understood.

I rely heavily on Time Chainage diagrams, EV (cost, manhours, key quantities) tracking and graphics to communicate the program demands to enhance the teams understanding.

I am now venturing into program risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulations.

Past project include freeways, rail, marine, high rise, process, power and mining. I have also worked on IT and Defence projects.

I do not favour any planning software as i believe a proper planning process is far more important in determining a successful project.
