Engineering OJT (On the Job) Trainer/Evaluator(Mechanical Manufacturing)

Receive live work orders from Ship Maintenance Manufacturing shops, class room instructions to apprentice before start of work, safety talks, Perform/simulate or discuss live jobs. Record progress in each apprentice’s Journeyman book. Prepares the daily, weekly & monthly progress reports to maintain OJT (On the Job Training) Hours record to conduct the Journeyman examination. Conduct Journeyman examination on completion of allocated Hours.

  • Responsible for On the Job Training, attendance, leave & recommendation for Journeyman examination of the Apprentices in fabrication (sheet metal & heavy metal), pipe fitting, welding & rigging trades.
  • Prepares the daily, weekly & monthly progress reports to maintain OJT Hours record to conduct the Journeyman examination.
