Project                        :           DownTown Jebel Ali - 2 Blocks Office and 2 Blocks of

                                                Apartments Buildings. 28 - 30 Storey

                                                Taisei Corporation

                                                (2008 April – Feb 2009)

Project Scope             :          To construct all 4 blocks from pile cap up architectural finishes and MEP testing and commissioning. Excluding ID fit out.

Job Descriptions     :               My scope includes developing overall implementation programme considering overall project elements interface and logistic constrains.

The critical aspect of the overall schedule is the sequence of the structure cycle time. This was in turn related to the removal of the tower cranes which would enable the building to be water tight.

The other critical component was the installation of the curtain wall. This component had long lead time where design, mock up approval was precedents for the commencement of the fabrication.

Manpower was the crucial factor in the planning of this project. My scope was to establish planned manpower required for all the structure works. Base on the formwork area and reinforcement productivity tons per day. I establish a manpower histogram with the assistance of other team members.

I also develop an S – Curve base on financial data. To enable the expected claim monthly.

Also advise the project team on contractual matters, i.e. change order impact, Sectional Handover Practical Completion and other notice of delay
