Role and duties relating to claims and delays • Review and monitor early warning notifications for cost and delay. • Compare approved baseline programme with look-a-head and other short term programmes to monitor progress and potential delays. • Maintain log of delays and update monthly. • Review submitted notices of Delay and respond to Contractor. • Carry out merit assessment of submitted delay claims (interim and final particulars) and check for compliance with the Contract in conjunction with Contracts Manager. • Summarize delay events per contract and as applicable select critical Delay Events for Analysis and in conjunction with team allocate responsibility for delay events and identify EOT Employer’s liability for time and cost of EOT. • Compare and assess Baseline vs Impacted Baseline vs As-Built Schedule to identify float and assess any mitigation carried out by Contractor and Contractors culpable delay if any. • Assess the actual productivity rates achieved against the planned productivity rates for KPI’s through consented planning narrative statement and project labour required to meet Contractors obligations and / or recovery programme. • Compare Employer Delay Events vs Contractor Delay Events on Time Chart to identify Concurrency and establish and calculate the net duration eligible for cost reimbursement of Time Related General Requirements(GRs) • Prepare schedules and graphs for use in presentation of delays. • Prepare power point presentations summarizing findings. General Role: • Create and Maintain NDIA Programme Management Plans for CP51: North Node Terminal, CP201: Hotel & Lounges, CP:46 Automatic People Mover Two Stations, CP133 Lounges, CP110 Concession Projects, Information Technology Projects, Ministry of Interior Projects, Artwork Projects, Airport Wide Miscellaneous Works(AWMW) • Study and Analyze Main Contractors Engineering, Procurement and Construction(EPC) Clause 14 Programme in Primavera P6 Release 8.2 • Evaluation of detailed testing and commissioning schedule for Electrical, ACMV, Fire Life Safety System, Special Systems • Preparation of Projects Status updates for NDIA Steering Committee (NDIA SC) • Monitoring of shop drawings, engineers instructions, change orders status using ACONEX document control system • Reviewing of fabrication and shipment schedule of over 1,200 items including millworks for Lounges & Activity Nodes and CRAC units, concentric piping and FM-200 system for 23 substations, millworks for Qatar Museum & Cafe • Analyze main contractors DPR/WPR/MPR/Cost tracking reports • Formulation of tender schedules as part of the PMC role for various additional scope of works for the NDIA/HIA
