CLM Joint Venture London 2012 Olympic Games Delivery Programme (Project Planner for the Security team) (6 month rolling Contractor Position)

 

The London 2012 Programme:

The London 2012 programme is a £9.4B development of the 2012 Olympic Park and legacy conversion after the games, located near Hackney Wick in east London. The security component (worth £300M) is site-wide scope interfacing with all sporting venues and the olympic site as a whole. The scope includes the installation of security entrance plazas, biometric access control systems, CCTV systems, intruder detection systems, perimeter barriers and alarms, and a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre. Also included are screening and searching and security guarding operations during construction of the Olympic Park.

 

  • Preparing data for Earned Value Management reporting.
  • Using P3e V6 (P6) project management and scheduling software to maintain the project schedule.
  • Providing scheduling and planning support for the Security and Procurement teams internally.
  • Monitoring, updating and reporting internal activities at (programme level) on the Security project.
  • Reviewing and accepting contactor’s detailed working schedules and supporting documentation (NEC3)
  • Undertaking regular site walks to verify contractor reported progress.
  • Summarising, monitoring, updating and reporting at (programme level) on the Security project contractor’s     schedule.
  • Interfacing and maintaining communications with project level contractor’s Planners.
  • Interfacing with other programme level Planners and resolving programme issues.
  • Monitoring programme handovers and interfaces.
  • Providing project support for contractors Planners, communicating and maintaining programme standards.
