Job Description:

• Prepare Master & Detailed Construction Schedule for EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) project in coordination with construction manager, interface managers, package managers and subcontractors.
• Supervise planners in preparing Short-Term Schedules, Plan of the Day Schedule and communicate the plans to in-charge project/site engineers for proper implementation.
• Follow up with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to collect and verify project progress then use them in updating project schedule to assess if the project milestones are achievable.
• Prepare marked-up drawings to track and verify the progress received from site engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that shop drawing schedules and material delivery schedules are well planned and in accordance with construction sequence of the planned project.
• Analyze actual project progress, review interim milestones path, revised critical path and available floats of activities and recommend possible solutions to Project Manager/Construction Manager if critical path is beyond the required completion dates.
• Prepare and present the project progress, performance and areas of concerns to the project management team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Client and Main Office.
• Prepare Key Performance Indicators for major activities/subcontractors to closely monitor the progress on each period.
• Provide reports on resource requirements (Day & Night Shift) Manpower Histograms and Spreadsheets to Project Manager/Construction Manager.
• Attend meetings with Project Management Team, Subcontractors and Client to follow up project progress.
• Attend coordination meeting with Construction Manager, Interface Managers, Package Managers and subcontractors to tackle interface issues and come up with resolution.
• Prepare recovery and revision schedules to comply with the project and Client requirements.
• Assist Claim Consultant and Contracts Department by providing activity fragnets of impacted activities.
