Lead Planning Engineer, Centrica Energy, Round 3 Windfarm Development - Rhiannon

 Lead planning engineer for Centrica Renewables division looking after the portfolio of live projects across the renewables business. This includes the development of the Celtic Array/Rhiannon wind farm project off the coast of Anglesey to a value of circa £60 million and the construction close out & OFTO handover & O&M programmes for Lincs Wind farm with a combined total value of 1.2bn amongst other smaller projects across the renewables business.

Undertaking the full range of duties associated with a lead planning role within a large organisation managing a portfolio of projects. This includes schedule updates, all reporting requirements, claims management, risk & change management, resource s curves & histograms, sub-contractor management and all other ad-hoc planning requirements as requested by the business.

I also liaise and report to “The Crown Estate” on a regular basis as part of the Rhiannon project. This involves ad-hoc reporting, client liaison, information management and data gathering and regular presentations.

I have also re-written the process & procedures for the renewables planning division. This includes new procedure manuals and associated process flow diagrams to ensure corporate governance is followed, planning standards are adhered to and we are fully compliant in the event of an audit, either internal or external.
