• Technical and commercial bid evaluation of EPC bidders and associated contracts along with the team
• Project set-up after award including selection of adequate and competent project management and control staff
• Review of EPC Contractor’s schedules and programs for the project incl. staffing plans and manpower histograms and project progress measurement system, etc. and monitoring of project activities, budgeting and scheduling, project reports and progress indicators
• Applying all planning and scheduling techniques as appropriate in accordance with the approved Project Execution and Control Plans
• Highlighting and proposing remedial actions and ensuring that the project manager, construction manager and the EPC Contractor are aware of any potential threats to completion on schedule
• Preparation of internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports and presentations to Sr. Management and monitor actual progress against planned progress, particularly with regard to resources, productivity, performance and budget
• Performing (quarterly) independent Schedule Risk Analysis as per guidelines and issuing schedule risk report with in-depth analysis and recommendations for mitigation
• Performing (quarterly) Project Risk Assessment along with team and maintaining Project Risk Register and issuing monthly updates to client with follow-up on mitigation measures
• Review and approval of EPC Contractor monthly progress, certification of progress milestones and invoices in-line with procedures and contract
• Implementation of change/variation control procedure and review and approval of change orders, maintaining the variation enquires/notifications and variation orders register
• Establishing, implementing, supervision document management and control processes throughout the project life cycle
