  • Establishing Project Planning and Project Controls System (Progress Measurement, Schedules, S-Curves, Man-power Histograms and Work Breakdown Structure etc.) according requirement of the projects
  • Prepare and maintain a valid overall project schedules and establish a cost reporting system
  • Lead project control teams with the preparation, review and submission of project progress reports which communicate cost, schedule status and identify critical path, risks and issues, and their corrective actions
  • Control, directly supervise, monitor and guide the day-to-day activities of the Planning team
  • Produce timely reports for assigned projects; identifies and trends potential project risks and issues; forecasts and associates risks and issues with cost provision for possible solution or mitigations
  • Lead teams to develop and validate reporting input; prepare variance analysis and recovery plans for review, prepare Earned Value Management System (EVMS) performance reports and analysis
  • Lead the team for the Risk Analysis of the Contractor’s Schedule (Level-IV), and development of Risk Model by Identifying the risks (Risk Register), Assigning the Risks to Activities using Primavera Risk Analysis Software and perform the risk analysis (pre-mitigation, mitigation & post mitigation).
  • Participation in Project Risk Assessment as per guidelines and prepare/submit Risk Assessment Report
  • Provide oversight into the development, monitoring and controlling fully integrated schedule of projects
  • Prepare and present reports and other necessary correspondence; attend and participation in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and developments in the field of project control; recommend incorporation of new developments into established policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Review, comment and verify the Sub-contractor’s Weekly/Monthly Progress Measurement and Reports
  • Compare and trend cost information, identify and analyze differences, and propose resolutions to mitigate future differences. Propose modifications to cost coding structure for future adoption
  • Follow-up and co-ordinate with different sub-contractors and vendors for the timely delivery of materials
  • Develop and encourage the use of change control procedures including procedures to recover costs not specifically defined by the contract
  • Review, comment and verify the Contractor’s Weekly/Monthly Progress Measurement and Reports
  • Review Level-III, & Level-IV schedules for EPC works and verify/approve the updated schedules and highlight any delays/slippages to Client and Project Management
  • Preparation and participation in cost estimates for EPC, Pipelines, Shutdowns, FEED Projects and other projects
  • Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluations for projects
  • Prepare and issue the monthly invoices and certify progress payment to Contractor and Sub-contractors
  • Prepare budget for the project based on inputs from relevant department and keep a control on the expenditures against the budget and highlight the variations to management
  • Ensure that all services and deliverables conform to Company, Client and Project QA Plan, Policies, project requirements and standards
  • Read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and Safety Management System documents
  • Promote good working relations within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and client representatives
  • Ensure all planning work is carried out in compliance with Corporate and Project specific procedures
  • Prepare improvement plans for future projects and review lesson learned during the execution of work
