February, 2006 - Responsible for the overall Management of the Business & Project requirements for Possessions & RIMINI / CORE Planning.
- Give leadership to the Possession & CORE Planning Department.
- Delivery of Possession Management and Planning services on Projects to (within) budget, specification, time, cost and quality.
- Delivery of Possession Management & CORE Planning services legislation and company standards.
- Ensure Safe Working Practices & Environment.
- Ensure optimum usage of Resources (personnel, equipment, plant & delivery of materials).
- Liaison with Network Rail & Contractors to ensure optimum usage of Possession availability.
- Manage the Planning and safe use of Engineering Trains within Possessions.
- Managing the processes for staff involved in the planning of works taking place on or near the line.
- Ensuring that all records of planned safe systems of work are monitored and kept on file.
- Knowledge of AC / DC Lines working instructions.
- Knowledge of the RIMINI & Possession Line Standards.
- Thorough knowledge of the Rule Book in respect of planning work on or near the line.
- Knowledge and use of Sectional Appendixes, Hazard Directory & Track / Signalling Diagrams.
