Appointed to work on the Borders Railway (Edinburgh – Scotland) project (value £294 million), an ICE target-cost contract spanning construction planning and tender planning, with 100% site involvement.

  • Developed planning hierarchy/integrations across the full enterprise of project schedules and established a structure of works to be controlled against the agreed scope (defining the WBS).
  • To produce reports against the schedule to include for physical % complete and forecast of work to complete.
  • Provided accurate reporting to the project team utilising various measurement tools to evaluate/address milestones, cost, float erosion, activity start/finish and performance against baseline dates.
  • Supported section manager, section agents and commercial management in terms of planning/programming/cost forecasting and in production of short term programmes 4/12WK look ahead.
