  2. 2006 to 2010 – Senior Project Planning & Controls Lead UK/Europe – Shutdowns & Maintenance
  3. 2010 to 2011 – Regional Project Control Manager – Shutdowns & Maintenance
  4. Advisory planning for 9E Installations/Construction programmes in AIME (Africa, India & Middle East).

 

  • From 2008 to 2011the role typically merged increasingly into a change implementation role to meet the demands of the Business. As the ‘go-to’ person for all aspects of Project Planning & Controls,I was required to act as Regional Planning CoE to brainstorm, develop and implement these changes, as well as mentoring the PP&C Team as to new practices and rolling out business-wide informing Service Directors of the adopted changes.
  • Develop Schedules in P6e/P6.2e & Primavera 4.1, 5 & 6.1 for Shutdown& Maintenance projects within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas Industries, Refineries, LNG Terminals -  Level  1 thru 6/7.
  • Projects have ranged in value from the £200k small shutdowns & maintenance through to £96m retro-fit/overhaul projects & $200m+ installation projects.
  • Proposal planning, resourcing & costing – shutdown & maintenance plans up to 3 years in advance, large scale maintenance/installationprograms, including Civil works and subcontractors.
  • Project Planning & Controlssupport for designated Installation Manager for a number of GE 9E Gas Turbine Construction/Installation/Commissioningprojects throughout India, Africa & Middle East.
  • Managed a Team of 10 Project Planning & Control Specialists throughout Europe. Developed Regional planning standards & KPI’s.
  • Reporting up to Director level, internal GE and Customer.
  • As Global Project Planning & Controls CoE helped develop and implement OneGE ‘Rules of Engagement’ project delivery strategy.
  • Train and mentor the Project Planning & Controls Team and Lead Field Engineers in the use of Primavera P6 & Primavera Contractor as the primary site planning tool.
