Qatar’s Expressway Programme is one of the world’s largest road infrastructure project including Roads, Structures, Utilities, Artscape, landscape and services buildings. As program management consultant, KBR is responsible for overseeing supervision consultants, design consultants and construction contractors on this high profile project, on behalf of Client, the Public Works Authority (known as Ashghal).

Initially within the Project Controls core team:

• Prepare and Maintain Master Schedule
• Provide inputs to Programme reports and Presentations
• Review and Approval of Design and Construction Schedules
• Identify Milestones during Tender Stage
• Tender Technical Evaluation
• Conduct Risk Analysis at the design stage
• Moving on into the Delivery team:

• Project : Central Area

  Project Value : 5 Billion USD

  Project Scope : Central Area covered 3 major Construction Projects, 6 major projects in  design and 2 Enabling works contracts. The Projects were centrally located in Doha and consisted of several multi-level interchanges including a number of Bridges, Underpasses and Tunnels.

  • Maintain Area Master Schedule
  • Lead Quarterly Project reviews
  • Claims review, Determination and Final recommendation
  • Guide Consultant Senior Planning team
  • CV review/Interview SC planning team
  • Technical evaluations of Bids, planning audits, construction report rationalization etc
  • Review and grant approval to Baseline Schedules
  • Bid Programs, Bid Milestones
  • Attend Monthly Business Review Meetings, Constructability Workshops etc.

    Project : Highway Projects department Managed Projects

    Project Value : 2 Billion USD

    Project Scope: This included 4 major construction projects centrally located in Doha. The projects included several multi-level interchanges including a number of Bridges and Underpasses.
