  1. - Periodically updates Level 3 Schedule

    - Follows up and expedites civil and erection subcontractors’ Level 4 Schedule update as necessary to obtain the schedules within the required time period


- Follows up and expedites civil and erection subcontractors’ 3 weeks look ahead schedules to ensure weekly reporting requirements are met


- Coordinates closely with Site Material Controller in regards to delivery notifications, Overage and Shortage Reports (OSD) and reviews any potential impact of late deliveries and of major OSD reports to key milestones and Turn Over Package (TOP) due dates.


- Communicates and coordinates his/her activities directly to / with Site Manager (SM) and other concerned disciplines (internal and external)


- On case to case basis, prepares daily schedule to address areas where interfaces involving two or more parties require close coordination on daily basis (e.g. prior to and during heavy lift operations)

- Prepares input for internal and external progress reports

 

1.    - Level 4 schedule review with the objective to ensure that interface points, such as foundation/structure turn over to erection subcontractor and erection completion and turn over to commissioning, are all in accordance with Level 3 Schedule

- Flagging any discrepancies between Level 4 and Level 3 Baseline Schedule to Discipline Site Managers, SM, Technical Project Manager (TPM), Project Manager (PM) to resolve with Civil/Erection subcontractor

- Following up and expediting of subcontractors’ manpower and construction equipment loading plans in order to obtain the schedule within the time period. Coordinating with each Discipline Site Manager to review and confirm / comment it in a timely manner


- Project schedule monitoring with the objective to ensure that accurate schedule information from Level 4 schedules are reflected into Level 3 schedule update (including forecast dates)


- Flagging critical paths resulting from the monthly update of Level 3 Schedule to Discipline Site Managers, SM, TPM, PM with clear explanation of leading path or any concurrent paths causing the criticality and with proposal for appropriate mitigation measures
- Guiding, mentoring and developing external scheduling/planning team members with the objective to enhance technical power plant knowledge skills on project scheduling and planning methods, procedures and concept
- Coordinating civil and erection subcontractors on schedule matters
