Experienced in using Oracle Primavera to create project plans and progress them using a pre-defined work break down structure. Experienced in using Oracle Primavera to optimise a programme as a whole being familiar with the issues that arise and how to overcome them. Proficient knowledge of the typical projects that National Grid undertakes, their durations, issues at the various stages such as development or execution and steps that can be taken to modify the plan to allow it to fit inside a programme of work. Proficient understanding of how individual projects interact with each other as a result of the National Grid outage plan. Basic knowledge of the environment in which Capital Delivery operates. Examples of this include health & safety legislation including the process around Development Consent Orders etc. Proficient in project management, scheduling principles and cost management. Basic knowledge of earned value management principles. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills. Proficient in working to tight deadlines. Proficient experience of influencing individuals and small groups, persuading, communicating, challenging and negotiation skills
