I have 8+ years of extensive work experience in both corporate and field work of the leading Oil/Gas, Energy & other multinational companies in the Asia Pacific region. I have worked in both onshore drilling and production operations and thus familiar with most of the major activities in the entire stream of natural Oil/Gas business. I have worked closely with critical departments such as Project Control, Facilities Engineering, Document Control, Contracts & Procurement, Operation & Maintenance, Production and Environment on the field. I am looking for a challenging technical oriented position in the upstream oil/gas/energy business around the world.

·         Provide technical assistant support to the Facility Engineering Manager, FE Advisor and Organization.

·         Maintain department files (MOCs, projects, etc.) & establishes file systems on O: drive and e-Room, copies reports, CDs, DVDs

·         Assist PMs/FEs with project documentation & basic schedule development and editing

·         Maintains monthly Budget, AFE, Spend Profile reports & other cost data under FE supervision

Project Control-Cost at  Santos, Bangladesh 
November, 2009- July, 2012

 

·         Develop Projects Cost Structure and WBS for project contracts and overall project cost control.

·         Prepare daily/weekly construction report blanks for each project at the start of each contract that will be used to track the work completed and costs on site. Work with site construction personnel to ensure that the data on the daily/weekly reports is being entered accurately and timely.

·         Assist construction personnel in the preparation of weekly & monthly cost reports.

·         Prepare monthly cost expenditure profiles for Network consumable in coordination with Project Managers.

·         Monitor all daily/weekly construction reports for data related to expenditure tracking, i.e. personnel working on site, units of work completed, etc. Summarize this information in tracking files to monitor the work completed on site, perform analysis to proactively predict cost overruns during Greenfield tower installation.

·         Communicate with personnel at field construction sites and with Supply Chain Management to obtain raw cost data required for the preparation of monthly cost estimate tracking.

·         Prepare project cost estimate for manpower, equipment, resources and other misc. expenses through discussions with project managers and construction engineers in a timely manner using project cost structure.

·         Communicate any changes in construction work scope promptly to Project Managers and prepare revised cost estimates based on these changes in scope.

·         Prepare contract change requests for all changes in construction work scope. Coordinate with the contracts department in the approval process for all contract change requests.

·         Prepare and transmit approved Change Orders to the field after CRC approval of contract change requests.

·         Liaise with accounting to obtain accurate detailed cost expenditures for all contracts and purchase orders and Company costs.

·         Generate weekly and monthly cost reports in tabular and graphical formats for each project in Excel, Primavera or other tools, including but not limited to ‘Earned Value Report’, ‘Plan Spent versus Actual Spent’, Cost at Complete, etc.

·         At the time of project completion, record all cost & technical information in project database using standard cost structure and utilize this cost database for future project cost estimation.

Development of a Higher Efficiency and More Cost Effective Scheduling Algorithm for Ovens at the Petro Bangla Facility at Bibiyana, Bangladesh (2012 – 2013)

 

·         Senior Design Project completed as part of BAPEX Industrial Projects Ltd. Developed algorithms and coded them into Microsoft Excel 2007 based software application for automatic sorting, prioritizing and scheduling of production jobs based on customer orders. The software is capable of scheduling jobs considering all production resource constraints in the manufacturing plant.

Facility Design Project for a hypothetical distribution facility of consumer items (2005)

·         Developed a detailed facility layout that includes selection of types of racks and conveyors to be used, number and dimensions of receiving and shipment docks and the selection of many other types of equipment’s.

·         Calculated profit/loss projections and return on investment for the proposed design.

·         Developed a proposal that includes RFID parking tags for students, LED-based display boards to better route drivers to vacant spots.

·         The paper also included multiple proposed systems, to identify empty parking spots, such as induction loops, laser-based vehicle detection systems etc.
