(Jamnagar) Project Synopsis: Jamnagar Refinery ULSD Project. Reliance is undertaking a program to upgrade all diesels produced in the EOU and SEZ refineries to Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) grade. Under Euro IV diesel project, up gradation of DHT 2 will be carried out to facilitate the production of ULSD. In Offsite facilities, presently three diesel grades (BS III, BS IV and Euro I) are being handled. Only 2 transfer lines are available from DHT to RTF and RTF to MTF. One line issued for BS IV service. Other line is used for both Euro I & BS III grades by line flushing and down gradation of superior product. With inclusion of new ULSD grade, total four grades are to be handled in Offsite facilities (4grades in RTF & MTF, 2 grades {BS III & BS IV} in RRTF).For handling four grades of diesel existing BS-IV Diesel transfer facilities will be used with storage/loading segregation. ULSD grade require to have dosing facilities at DTA RTF for five additives in which three additives(Cetane improver, antistatic & antioxidant additives) will be dosed using existing facilities where as for two additives (two grades of Lubricity improvers & CFPP), facilities needs to be upgraded and created. Project cost 3.4 Billion USD Project Synopsis:  Flow lines from remote wells routed to remote manifolds stations, GTU’s (approx. 5-8 wells per GTU).  4 Trunk lines routing process fluids from each of the GTU’s (no. 5,6,7 and 8), to Central Production Facility, (CPF).  Initially 5 BCMA of gas processing increasing to a total of 10BCMA.  Process facilities including reception facilities, acid gas removal dehydration gas dew-pointing, metering, condensate stabilization, Sulphur recovery, tail gas clean-up, and pelletisation.  Export Gas Pipeline 56”, 98Km.  Condensate and sulphur export by rail loading facilities Offsite and utilities to support 20 BCMA production facilities.  Infrastructure Roads /rail / to support full development. These new facilities comprise; two depletion compression trains, an inlet separation system, a condensate handling system, new control system, upgraded utilities and a complete electrical infrastructure to handle the compressors’ variable frequency drives, with the requisite filters to address the generated harmonics.The scope also involved a combination of Greenfield and Brownfield activities encompassing significant tie-ins and modification alongside the existing facilities.
