Valero Aruba Refinery, 11/2002 to 12/2005 Cost Controller and Turnaround Planner and scheduler Cost Controller, material planning and scheduling for turnaround several turnarounds and emergency shutdowns (for about $60 million/year and 900,000 Mhrs/Year) of crude units, hydrogen units, hydrotreater units, delayed coker units, flare systems, kerosene unit, sulphur units, package boilers, turbo generators, desalination units and visbreaker/vacuum flasher unit. The work consisted of major maintenance and repairs of equipment heat exchangers, drums, towers, turbo generators, blowers, compressors, safety valves, control valves, pumps, motors, metal structure, piping, insulation, painting, electrical and instrumentation systems. A dehydration plant and filtration, approximately 6 kilometers of distribution piping for injection to 4 macula’s and a total of 12 wells. Project: Train F Expansion Project at the Medium Pressure Jusepin Plant. (Approximately $1.4 million) Project: Train D El Furrial (approximately $5 million) construction of expansion of a gas injection plant. One centrifugal compressor and one reciprocating compressor to inject gas at 7,700 PSIG, increasing the volume 150,000,000 SCFD to a total plant capacity of 600,000,000 SCFD, including all the civil, mechanical and electric works.
Aguas de Monagas, C.A. World Bank Model Financed Project –Spanish- Venezuelan- American 06/1996 to 06/1997 World Bank Consultant to the Presidency of the Company Contributed to obtain the credit for the Privatization of the "Aguas de Monagas" Model of the World Bank. BOO(Built-Own-Operate).This model was implemented thru FOCSAVEN Company (Spanish operator) that operated the Water Privatization of the Service. Supervise the correct utilization of World bank funds “Unidad Ejecutora Del Proyecto de Mejoras al Sistema de Agua Potable y Saneamiento Urbano de Aguas de Monagas, C.A”. Estimated investment cost of Project 40 millions of US$, financed totally for the World Bank. The project consisted expansion of the water plant, upgrading of the water network for Monagas State, Construction of new sewage system for disposal waters.
