I am a qualified Mechanical fitter with years of experience as well as a Qualified specialist turbine fitter and then decided to become a qualified Planner trained by Sasol petrochemicals. I started immediatly as project planner in the Construction industry and has gained immense experience in the civil structural mechanical and piping fields as well as Electrical and Instrumentation I worked on various greenfield and brownfields projects I mastered planning packages such as p3 p5 and currently p6. I also know open plan 31.2/3 and CCS ( Construction Computor Sytems ) Which is a Candy (Costing and estimating based package linked to planning). Not suitable for hourly projects but for longer duration jobs.
I am well known to all costing and estimating aspects off new projects .
I have also done numerous front end loading planning of projects from Concept phase right through basic engineering and detail engineering planning.
I am trained in scope definition and combining of RFQs to vendors for competative bidding
I have trained myself in the NEC type contract which is almost compulsory in SA Petrochemical enviroments and has given courses in the execution of these types of contracts
I have experience in Marine projects ,power generation and the petrochemical fields.
I unforunately do not have any Mining and mineral experience but would like to get the challenge.
