Peter Clapp
I started my professional life as a commercial apprentice, at BAe Systems, subsequently specialising in procurement and, later, contract management.
From 2004 I worked in project planning and control within the railway industry, in track (Volker Rail), signals (Thales), cooling and power (London Underground) upgrades, and in 2010 I joined Crossrail's 'Programme Partner' team, as programe controls / planning interface for all Network Rail's (Crossrail related) works, totalling GBP2.3bn. In early 2011 I relocated to UAE to join Parsons, as Project Controls Manager for the Dubai Metro Project and subsequently became the Programme Director.
In late 2014 I left Parsons rail sector to become the company's Regional Project Controls Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), responsble functionally for our circa.600 project controls staff in the region.
