Project Title: Bonga North West

Position- Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor Contractor’s work on daily basis and liaise with the contractor’s personnel to ensure any issues and concerns are dealt with an appropriate manner to preserve the contract key dates and approved contract value
  • Support contract holder in representing company at project team, customer and management meetings
  • Work proactively to protect company reputation and commercial interest
  • Review , analyze and validate schedules from contractors and vendors for company weekly and monthly progress reporting with relevant provisions of the contract
  • Monitor physical progress and performing variance analysis in comparison to the baseline schedule
  • Validate physical progress on site verification of completed works. Report any possible variances from reported progress vs. physical progress

Project Title: Offshore Construction Installation Program (OCIP)

Position- Project Control Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop the schedule that is used to obtain approval for Estimate Basis Confidence Package
  • Integrate all the different phase of a project to achieve an integrated schedule
  • Provide the schedule basis to PT
  • Monitor and appraise contractor schedule to ensure alignment with Company procedures and standards

Evaluate contractor’s schedule control organisation, plans, performance and procedures.

Coordinated schedule review meetings with contractor to analyse schedule and progress trends developed by contractor

  • Provided guidance to contractors as needed for alignment of Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Installation progress measurement.
  • Participated in site visits to offshore platforms as necessary to verify project scope of work and align schedule accordingly
  • Used lessons learned in other projects to develop a more realistic schedule.     
  • (Schedule reduced significantly the amount of hot work done offshore thus leading to reduced barge timeoffshore)
