Nabucco is the new gas bridge from Asia to Europe and the flagship project in the Southern Corridor. It will be a pipeline to connect the world’s richest gas regions - the Caspian region and Middle East - to the European consumer markets. Project Estimated Value is 12 Billion US$

 

Scope of work:

  • As NABUCCO Lead Project Controls Engineer ensure timeliness and accuracy of: progress and performance/ productivity evaluation for the execution of the WPAD scope of work, change management and reporting to management.
  • Ensure priority management to match the following order of precedence: In CONTROL application management (CBS/WBS and CTR and TIMETRAX interface), preparation and update of all level schedules to meet both WPAD and client requirements; and reporting.
  • As co-owner of the change management process on NABUCCO provide prime assistance to PM and PC Manager in the preparation, justification and negotiations of Variations Order from WPAD to NIC and assistance in validating certifying LFE’s Requests for Variation.
  • Promote actively and supportively the implementation of any changes/adaptation/new application identified by company regarding its project Control and planning and scheduling and resources management systems and procedures.
  • As  NABUCCO  Project Controls Engineer assist PM and PC Manager in efficiently monitoring and analysing and reporting LFE’s deliverables production and issuance planned schedule (dates) and progress (%) versus actual progress Forecast to complete and variance identification and analysis.

  • Analysing cost and time impact for additional works or parts of work removed from scope.  Preparing cost and or time impact estimates of Variations and Variation Proposals by coordinating and receiving input from sections and parties involved.
  • Preparing submittals for Variations, Variation Proposals and Claims / Extension of Time to Client and when required coordinate with Client to have Variations approved in a timely manner.
  • Attending Weekly/Monthly meetings with Client.  Preparing the minutes of progress meetings.
  • Monitoring and recording work progress and preparing internal daily report.
