Watters To support the effective and efficient delivery of multi discipline projects, an effective and proven project control structure is an essential element of success. The efficient production of data to deadline, every time, allowed the project manager sufficient time to realise forecast movements in team performance and undertake mitigating actions to either eliminate or negate the impacts before their full unmitigated potential is realised. Over the past 13 years I have gained extensive experience in controlling and managing the schedule, cost and risk of capital intensive and high risk projects both nationally and internationally. Developing on from this I have managed teams of project controllers on high profile nuclear decommissioning projects and offshore engineering projects. I have an excellent understanding on the key elements project control techniques, software and systems and how these should be used to add value to project reporting and project management to ensure the project remains on track to the expectations of the key project stakeholders. A key aspect to ensuring the success of this type of project control lies in the ability of the team to communicate and liaise with all levels of the engineering and delivery teams and their management. My experience in liaising with both national and local governmental regulators has furnished me with the skills to do this, and to do it well.
