▪       Consultation, and Implementation of Strategic/Programme Planning, EV Management, and Risk Management to support the €900M Decommissioning Programme at JRC-Ispra Italy.

▪       Building a programme 30-40 project to support the Decommissioning, Waste Management, Nuclear Materials management, and New Build Sectors of the JRC NDU

▪       Providing review of and interface with Framework Contractors / Turnkey Contractors schedules, Providing liaison and alignment with Procurement, Licensing, Operations, and Laboratories Sectors.

▪       Providing Quarterly Risk Management analysis, Updating the risk register and action list analysing trends, producing the quarterly status report on current risk levels.

Responsible to the Infrastructure Director, for all Infrastructure Projects. Building the £300m annual contract programme, and the strategy programme for the next 17 years. This includes:

▪       Agreeing the project controls service, developing the staffing plan and working with the Project Controls Capability to assign appropriate resources.

▪       Facilitating an Integrated Project Team approach. Hosting, and chairing Interactive Scope, Planning and Cost Sessions.

▪       Leading the project controls team in the delivery of the service using standard PC systems, processes and procedures in a safe, cost effective and intelligently compliant manner, while meeting defined performance objectives and goals

▪    Defining, controlling, maintaining and monitoring accurately scope, schedules, cost baselines, and underpinning estimates at an appropriate level of detail and applying effective change management processes

▪       Ensuring the form, structure and frequency of Project Controls requirements is submitted with tenders and assuring subcontractors work to agreed T&Cs

▪       Identifying, maintaining and archiving the agreed methods of quantity tracking and earned value management

▪       Implementing performance monitoring, trending, analysis and ETC/EAC forecasting processes and providing periodic reports on performance and status issues in a timely manner

▪       Interfacing with internal and external customers as needed, including schedule integration of work activities within each area and providing financial assurance for actual, commitments and accruals.

▪       Ensuring the estimate/schedule incorporates risk mitigation activities, reflects total cost/schedule exposure and appropriate cost/time contingency from risk modelling, and overall alignment/communication to the Risk Management Programme

Producing programmes and performance reports for the full lifecycle of a project, from inception, to commissioning/handover, with information from safety, design, purchasing, regulators, customers, contractors, etc.
