Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Nolan Prime,

What is your association with Sedgman Limited?

We do not recruit through agencies so I am curious as to how you might offer assistance in this regard.

Hi Joel,

Thanks for your input.

Yes, a Brisbane based role would require someone to have the right to work in Australia. Prior to the GFC we would be able use a "457 Visa" for skilled workers but it is my understanding that this program is still on hold.

That said, we have offices in Johannesburg, Beijing and Santiago, all with different work entry requirements. Generally speaking, all of our positions are permanent full time, with site conditions typically 10 days on 4 days off. Single accomodation at site paid for by the company. Salary is depedent on experience and location.
