I have a requirement for a Chinese Speaking and Chinese Writing Project Cost Controller for a major industrial plant project in China, starting in the Shanghai design office then later relocate to a construction site in the northeast.

The ideal candidate should be:-

a) Construction or Engineering or Accounting Qualified;

b) Preferably with some cost engineering or EVMS qualification from PMI or IPMA;

c) with more than 10 years of post graduate working experience with at least 5 years in performing cost reporting or forecasting functions;

d) China or Taiwan cost control experience would be preferred although similar experience outside of China but with international EPC or Turnkey Contractors from USA, UK Germany or Australia would be considered as desirable.

I will consider non-Chinese candidates if they are conversant in writing Chinese texts (working level not "ba ba black sheep" level) and construction or accounting rules prevalent in PRC.
