Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I'm not sure why you think a 'dummy activity' is needed. The only place a  'Zero duration' activity would add any value is in between the three activities with two successors and the net result would be the same number of elements in the schedule - you get rid of six links and replace with three links into the dummy and two links out of the dummy activity.

The arrangement will have no effect on the start of either successor and will still allow the successors to occur independently of each other.  For more on how links work in PDM networks see: https://mosaicprojects.com.au/PDF/Links_Lags_Ladders.pdf  and for how this affects calculations: https://mosaicprojects.com.au/PDF/Schedule_Calculations.pdf
