Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

More smoke and mirrors. The simple fact is, if you don’t have enough resources and management is doing its job to the best of its ability the work takes longer.

The linked blogs first option is ‘fast track where you can’.  Fast tracking overlaps phases that would normally be done sequentially.

Overlapping phases that would normally be done at different time means you need double the resources – you need enough resources to work on both phases at the same time but the problem is you don’t have enough resources to work on the current phase. Therefore you have twice as much work not being done!

The only useful advice is the last point – ‘don’t pretend it is OK’
