(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.
I have exported both a project and its baseline from a v6.2 and imported into v8.1 and re-attached the baseline to the project.
When checking the projects financials from the v6.2 to the v8.1, I have noticed that the financials are different, the actual cost is identical, but the bugeted and remaining cost are different between the two projects.
I have managed to track which activities its doing this on, it seems its on activities when I have assigned a roles only, all resourced activities seem to be fine.
The activities that are wrong should have two roles assigned, but it seems to have only brought through one role with the import.
Does anybody have any idea why it might be doing this? I asked our programmer to have a look and he has said the export is fine, its the import or maybe some project setting.

There are a number of issues with XERs, if you have the same Role or Resource assigned twice it may only import it once, similar to the same issue with P3. The fix it it is the same process, make sure each assignement is unique say by assigning each resource and role with a different cost code.
