(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.
There is something I am not doing right when I try to convert numbers in Excel to text to match the export format from P6 8.2. My situation: Trying to copy and paste data from an Excel Pivot Table to an exported P6 file. I am trying to populate fields (columns) for "Drawing Number" (no problem) and Budgeted Labor Hours. Excel lets me know that the exported hours are formatted as text. When I try to copy and then convert the pivot table data totext, P6 still refuses to inport the 'numbers as text'. What am I overlooking? Thanks.
