Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can anyone explain to me how to assign a project manager to approve timesheets as the 1st approval and then resource manager as the second approval.

I understand all parts of how it works apart from actually assigning a Project Manager and how this is done????
which is very poorly explained in the web help as Project manager does not exist as an option???? Does this mean responsible manager or am i on the wrong wavelength?

Yep already done that. Its how the Project manager assignment actually works that i’m stuck with?

Andrew,
Admin-> Admin Preferences-> Timesheet tab then select or tick 2 Approval levels - Project Manager and resource manager approval required and mark/ tick Project Manager must before before resource manager.
