Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all,
Right now I want to upgrade the P5 to P6, all stand alone.
but my P5 still has a lot of projects there,
Do you have any idea to upgrade the P6 and keep all my projects?

I upgraded my Primavera from P6.1 to P6.2 and I had no problems with the projects inside the database. Still, you should do a backup each time you upgrade (fail safe).

You can do it using two methods:

1. Exporting all the projects from the database (hard way)

2. Doing a database backup (easy way)
