Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can someone help me import data from Excel 2007.

With Excel 2003 I used to DBF or WK1, WKs export and imprted the same way.

Unfortunately Excel 2007 does not support these formats but I can export in ASCII format from P3 and once modified save as a text file.

Why does P3 allow ASCII, DBF, WK1 & WKS export but only DBF, WK1 & WKS import.

Don’t tell me to buy Open Office or keep a copy of Excel 2003 as IT won’t allow it.

afaik, openoffice is free, no need to buy it
