Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Schedule details

P3 schedule containing up to 500 logically linked and/or constrained activities, with an hourly planning unit and a calendar based on an 8 hour shift.

Problem

When project is levelled (and scheduled), I want the software to automatically delay an activity, if it cannot start and finish in the same shift. (i.e. only 1 hour of shift available and activity is 2 hours
duration, therefore delay until next shift.)

Can anyone suggest how to set up P3 to undertake the above.

In Tools - Level - splitting, set the maximum number of splits per activity is 0
i.e. no split allowed.
