Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

This Thursday, Dec 21, noon to 1pm, US Eastern Time (two days away!), I will be presenting Northeastern University's Evidence-Based Project Management Practice Roundtable event titled "ROI Should Be King (Because All Projects are Investments!)”.

Session 1 is titled: "Success & Failure Are Two Impostors"

Where: Virtual via Zoom

This is a FREE webinar presented in collaboration with Northeastern University and the PMI Mass Bay Chapter. It's designed for executives, PMs, planners & schedulers who understand the basic techniques and want to advance beyond.

This first of a two-part series offers new insights into what project managers need and the PM software functionality that would help them. The special focus is to understand that ALL projects are investments and how to get job recognition by maximizing Return on Investment (ROI). It rejects the binary misjudgement of projects as "success and failure", explores concepts such as the value breakdown structure (VBS) and the importance of enabler projects, and offers a fresh perspective on what truly constitutes achievement in project management.

And please: I hope to leave time for questions at the end, so prepare some!

That's it. Hope to see you there!
