Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Sir,
I am doing planning for MEP activites in this for internal finishing like wiring, switches & sockets like activities are included .since its a tower project wiring is earlier and after iron mongery we are fixing switches& sockets so lag goes round about 300 which is not acceptable for clients Planning engg. i have linked tht wth floor to floor but then for switches on tht floor will cum after 1 yrs aprox & so is the lag. so m i right or is there any other method for reducing lag.

your clients planning engineer is absolutely correct , it is illogical to put any lag unless it is required for a technical reason or its contractors plan to show its crew movement... any way..could u plz let me know in a more transparent manner about ur MEP activities sequences so that i can analyze ur problem in a better shape

Ask the engineers on the project what other activities come before the one you have lagged at 300 days. There will be something later in the programme that will drive out that activity.
