Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I prefer showing Stat and Finish, and also Late Start and Late Finish.  Spec and others want Early Start instead of Start, what is the easiest way to explain the difference.

Early dates (Early Start/ Early Finish) is different from current date (Start/ Finish)

Early Date - The earliest possible date the remaining work for the activity can begin and end. This date is computed by the software based on network logic, schedule constraints, and resource availability.

Start/ Finish - The current start date of the activity.  Set to the activity remaining early start date while the activity is not started, and the actual start date once the activity is started and the current finish date of the activity was set to the activity remaining early finish date while the activity is not started or in progress, and the actual finish date once the activity is completed.
