Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

We are currently using 2007 for our shutdowns and have grouped the Outline codes for tasks that are being imported from our CMMS system from work orders created by planners . The codes are alpha and when grouped are not displayed in the order we would like. The codes represent the order of operation from start to finish and when assigned to the task give a geographic representation to were in the process the work will take place. The issue is that the grouping works on sorting the areas by the alpha order and that's not as per process. Short of re naming the codes is there a way to sort in a different order like maybe a macro or something
Any help would be appreciated
