Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have two machines, one with MS Project 2013 Pro at this level: 15.0.4737.1003 and one at this level: 15.0.4727.1003 and linking is not working with the former. See below:

Broken machine:

Working machine:

Not sure what to do about this! I don't know how to roll back updates in Windows 8.1 (and probally don't want to) and I need to use the "broken machine" in a workshop next week. As far as I can tell, all options are set the same and this problem DID NOT exist before the update. Can anyone shed any light on this? thx!!!

Tom, thank you so much for your reply, but I've discovered the problem is with a 3rd-party Add-in. I will take this up with their support staff. Thx again for helping out!

Hi Jigs, at the risk of stating the obvious, the "broken machine example" has been calculated (F9), right?
