Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Happy New Year
I wish you all the best in 2008

I know how to organize OBS (Organizational Breakdown Structure) with Primavera but not know how to do it with MSP. If there is the possibility to do it with MSP please let me know.

With best regards,

Hello Hamed,

MSP doesn’t know the clear distinction between WBS and activities as Primavera does; this also means the OBS mechanism isn’t available out of the box.

What you can do in MSP is create the OBS in an Outline Code, but you need to guard the consistency between activities, summary tasks and your OBS code. (in other words, you’ll need to make sure that all activities underneath a WBS (i.e. summary task) have the same OBS code)

Hope this explains,

Niek.
