Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In Project Web Access, when a resource is assigned to a task, he is only allowed to enter the % complete and /or the remaining hours. He cannot change the start/finish fields. I am trying to devise a good way to facilitate the resource in communicating a change to these dates to the project manager. None of the options I have thought of seem to be very efficent:

1) attach an issue to each task noting the date changes

2) attach a document to each task like a spreadsheet that shows the is/was for each date change

These both seem undesirable because a resource is dealing with with hundreds of tasks each day that may have date changes.

I need help in figuring out a way for a resource to communicate forcate date changes efficiently within Project Web Access.

Thanks!
