Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi!

When I am searching some information, sometimes there are topics with exclusively emails asking for files (manuals/templates/information). If possible, is better to have one of these:

1. A forum that supports attachments, example: vBulletin forum (hard way)

http://www.vbulletin.com/

2. Create another site to storage files, example: yahoo groups (easy way)

http://groups.yahoo.com/

This has another side, the copyrights problem (it’s very hard to control each file shared with the community)

AF

I would like to second this idea;

Accepting there may be copyright issues, the forum is already used to exchange various files (manuals, presentations, paper etc) so why do we not have a download section for these items so the submitter doesn’t spend the next 6 months emailing whatever it is they have that has generated so much interest.

We could even utilise www.4shared.com or some similar service.
