The project consists of two phases, phase one consists of 51 story office towers on a two level podium with winter garden, shops, restaurants and six levels of below grade parking. Phase two will accommodate 39 story sister tower. The structure of towers consists of structural steel floors with a concrete core. Each tower is supported on a deep concrete raft footing extending beyond the footprint of each tower.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • To develop and implement project controls plans, procedures and best practices on project
  •  To define project scope
  • To develop resource loaded basic, detail engineering and construction schedules
  • To ensure planning and scheduling deliverables from contractors are in line with contractual terms
  • To interface with contractor to ensure recovery plans are implemented when necessary
  • To update the schedules on weekly and monthly basis
  • To analyze level 4 schedules from contractors and provide feedback on improvement items
  • To perform Earned Value Management techniques (EVM) to calculate productivity factor, estimate to complete, estimate at completion, and advise corrective / preventive actions accordingly
  • To assist change orders impact on schedules
  • To prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
  • To develop project budget and manpower requirement
  • To make sure that work is completed as per the company policies and within the approved budget
  • To evaluate contractors time and cost claims
