Accountable for Planning and directing an organization’s Strategic and long range goals. Develops and implements Business Plans, Annual Budgets, and Asset Strategies. Responsible forthe development of Conceptual, FEED, EPC top level planning & scheduling and Cost Control of activities. Manages Capital Value Process for the Project Life Cycle. Develop Key Strategic Milestones and set Performance Targets.

  • Reports to Vice President –Das Island Asset and Manages a team of Engineers consists of Project Control Engineer, Maintenance Planning Engineers, Business Planning Engineer, Contract Admin and Training Coordinators, Document Controller, Planning Assistants (and Technical Assistants.
  • Interface with various Teams / Managers in developing the Annual Plan and Budget.
  • Monitor and Control Asset Project Budgets, CAPEX (150MM USD per Year) and OPEX (45-55MM USD.
  • Develop Asset Strategies and convert to Short term actions, plans and set targets
  • Manages Manpower Contracts (35Nos), Call-Off Contract (43Nos) and Service Contracts (34Nos)
  • Analyze the existing Strategies and propose the strategies to enhance the work efficiency in cost economical manner required for the maintenance services.
  • Direct issuing of the CR/PR/MR for operations requirement, reviews, prepares, directs the preparation of preliminary cost estimates following up on project budget allocation.
  • Focal Point for Tender Board Meeting and reviews / analyze the Contract / procurement proposals, Executive summary and Award recommendations with other stakeholders.
  • Prepares related cost analysis and evaluates for variation orders / claims and participating in discussions / negotiations with other sections. Maintains and updates records for all approved variation orders.
  • Provide input to Maintenance Strategy / Policy Documents, Finance / Budget guidelines, Business process guidelines and other Company HSE Procedures
  • Ensure the Onshore and Offshore Teams aligned by appropriate coordination in terms of planning, manpower coordination, securing contracts, approval of Budget and in line with other Company guidelines and standards
  • Develop Integrated Shut down Plan for Pan Company comprising of all Assets ( Onshore and Fields)
  • Analyze / Review Maintenance PM Plans, Shutdown Plan, CM Plan and optimize the resource requirements. Prepare Business case for Management Approval for any additional manpower requirement.
  • Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and to evaluate operational effectiveness
  • Conduct Lesson Learnt Exercise, issue post Shutdown report / project reports and ensure the lesson learnt are captured in the future shutdowns and other maintenance projects
  • Develop presentation for the Best Practices implemented and other innovation ideas
  • Coordinate with HSE Division for conducting Safety Audits, Share Holders Audits and Risk Ranks
  • Ensure the Near Miss Reports are analyzed and all the Actions are closed appropriately  
  • Develop UAE Nationals to meet the Emiratization Targets
