A.QATARGAS (2018 Rasgas & Qatargas merged)- From Jan 2019 to date. Position Sr Planning engineer

 

  • Project planning for brownfield projects ranging from $1m to $300m. Develop detailed CPM what-if scenarios - contracting strategies, PMT resource planning, schedule contingencies, risk response plan, etc. Approval of contractor planning package, baseline schedules, schedule basis, method statements and project risks. Analysis of progress reports & advice PMT on bottlenecks, trends, delay mitigations, recoveries, etc. Facilitate project team alignment on schedule data in terms of technical, contracting, construction, procurement, operations and safety inputs. Technical evaluation/ Score contractor. Be part of cold eye readiness review teams before major milestones.
  • Analysis of past projects resourcing, phase durations & methodologies to develop continuous improvement database, planning procedures & organization manning.
  • IAP-Integrated activities planning: Created a niche in LNG industry for unique & innovative concept of portfolio/project/activities integration across departments. Configured in Primavera IAP portfolio and enterprise data, documented all as IAP procedures for users. Technical support / consultancy support to over 100 users in RG. Provided training to P6 users on regular basis including advance topics.
  • Primavera 6 administrator for RasGas since its inception in 2007. Independently Developed Enterprise structures- OBS, EPS, company resource database, global codes, security profiles for whole Rasgas.Maintain/Control integrity of enterprise data.
  • Steward thro' compliance to Asset level business plan of manufacturing assets of Offshore, Utilities and LNG trains. Conduct SWOT, alignment of corporate strategies, finalize objectives & budgets WP&B OPEX/CAPEX. Develop and monitor objective and KPI, mitigate issues in low performing targets. Analyze & manage interface/conflicts on long term integrated plan, reassess priorities, review & agree forward plans, mitigate bottlenecks on inhibited progress. This is additional job in present organization appreciated by users and management.
  • Control variance on schedule/cost overruns in Maintenance, Projects, and OPEX/CAPEX programs. Ensure timely completion on initiatives to enhance reliability & integrity. Engage in shutdown management system from very early phase to finish. Analyze data using equipment strategy, SAP, long term SD schedules & cost optimization. Develop, align and comply target planning milestones in shutdown and projects.
  • Approval of extension of time and develop and monitor strategies to meet productivity. Endorsing invoices based on earned values and agreed payment milestones.
  • Support enhancement projects for departments in SharePoint, SAP, KPI, etc. Involved in disaster recovery test phases.
