March, 2004 July 03 – March 04 Reassigned to an ongoing major expansion pharmaceutical project for Novartis in Grimsby, North Lincolnshire. Assisted the project by integrating an expansion of part of the project into the main schedule. Later, assisted the on site planning team with transition schedules taking area/floor build into commissioning hand over packages. Detail down to level three with outstanding pipe to hydro test stage, instruments to loop check, and power supplies to initial run checks. Validation and commissioning was then passed to client control.
September 02 – July 03 Reassigned to a major revamp of a paper mill in Northern England for a confidential client. Responsible for the co-ordination of Project Engineering, Design, Procurement and Construction scope for year 2003 shut down schedule similar to the previous Italian Project. Primavera Project Planner (P3) being the main planning tool utilised with a logic network of around 2000 activities being progressed and reported against as well as each sub contractor’s own programmes.
February 02 – September 02 Reassigned to Manchester office to assist with planning on a Small Scale Pharmaceutical Production Plant for a confidential client in Wrexham, North Wales. Involved in pre-planning interactive sessions with client. Developed detail design, procurement, construction and validation schedule up to batch trials for the Small Scale Facility, which was later further developed into a production schedule. Left project when engineering and procurement neared completion.
September 01 – February 02 Assigned to Glasgow office to assist in planning a Ground Flare project for BP Chemicals at Grangemouth, Scotland. Involved in the front-end development to produce estimate for the works. Project shelved by BP. Transferred to Jacobs’ site team in Grangemouth to develop design, procurement, construction plans for various upgrading projects throughout the Grangemouth complex. Diverse range of projects assisted in were debottlenecking project in Polymers Division to Safety Relief Valve Review in Tank Farm. A further list of projects can be made available.
