Accountable for the development, assessment and management of the planning function for all phases of the project including environmental assessment, detailed design, construction and commissioning phases.

Specific Responsibilities

¨             Assess impacts of change on rail possessions, resources and operational dates on the project’s master schedule.

¨             Forecast and scenario-model on schedule of any proposed changes in project activities.

¨             Analyse labour, materials and material handling requirements for the project and put in place a construction plan as per project methodology.

¨             Monitor resource availability and allocation across various disciplines of the project.

¨             Assess levels of confidence for the achievement of key milestones.

¨             Monitor actual progress (at portfolio level), compare to baseline and report progress against schedule.

¨             Provide scheduling support and schedule analysis of various interfaces of the project.
