Experience gained on Highways works which included assisting in supervision of site works, collating utility drawings (electric, gas, water & telecoms) for work packs (cable tv works), assign of work packs to gangs, surveying new works for tender & updating of progress made.

Duties included:
•Checking utility drawings to ensure information was correct.
•Going on site before digging work commenced to mark where clients ducting and chambers should be.
•Locate and mark any other utility in the vicinity using a RD400
•Ensuring work packages contained relevant utility drawings for health and safety purposes.
•Surveyed jobs for tender and assisted in pricing them.
•Liaised with project manager, clients, local authorities and other utility companies about on going and new projects.
•Planned the traffic management for work in town centres and on major roads for local authority’s approval.
•Assisted in the measuring and drawing of work carried out by D.C.E for client’s records.
•Kept detailed files and records of all completed work and for tenders that was priced.
